Jesus is lifted up through the clouds forty days after rising from the dead. The disciples do not understand what is going on. They can no longer see Jesus, their beloved Master. WHERE HAS HE GONE? They will be able to gain some understanding when they receive the HOLY SPIRIT at PENTECOST.

The Eleven followed Jesus every day for three years till HIS Passion and Death on the Cross. They found the empty Tomb and had no idea where the Body of Jesus had gone. They are amazed to see the Risen Lord. The Lord Jesus leaves them again This time it seems forever. Once again, they do not know where He has gone.

We feel the same way today. Sometimes our hearts are filled with the Love of Jesus. Sometimes we feel abandoned, like orphans without any parents. WHERE ARE YOU JESUS? WAY-J? I have kept asking many of you: WHERE IS JESUS NOW? Some of you did not understand my French pronunciation of WAYJ. But everyone got it when I spoke slower: WAY-J, and I explained J stands for JESUS. WAY stand stands for: Where Are You? Where ARE YOU JESUS?

At Pentecost, Jesus’s “SPIRIT” Descends upon the Eleven. They are totally transformed. They were uneducated fishermen like Peter. Now FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT! They can perform some of Jesus' miracles. They speak in different tongues, languages very different from their native tongue Aramaic. They are also able to cure the sick. More importantly, they can BAPTIZE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST who dies for our sins, conquers death once for all, opens Heaven for us, and gives us NEW LIFE, ETERNAL LIFE.

While on earth Jesus, both MAN and GOD, made everything possible. He made the blind see, the lame walk. He healed the sick. He cured the lepers. He chased the evil spirits from the possessed. He changed the water into wine. He fed 5,000 hungry men with five loaves and two fish. He comforted those at the margin of society. CAN JESUS STILL PERFORM ALL THESE MIRACLES TODAY? YES! JESUS CAN DO everything for us TODAY. His CHURCH, the BODY OF CHRIST, is ALIVE TODAY. When we are part of the Church through Baptism, we become ONE IN CHRIST. We receive the HOLY SPIRIT through Baptism and Confirmation. We receive the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist. Every day we can ask Jesus to come into our hearts. Every day, we can ask the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His Love, and to guide us.

Let us pray together the ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE HOLY SPIRIT:

On my knees before the great multitude of heavenly witnesses, I offer myself, soul and body to You, Eternal Spirit of God. I adore the brightness of Your purity, the unerring keenness of Your justice, and the might of Your love. You are the Strength and Light of my soul. In You I live and move and am. I desire never to grieve You by unfaithfulness to grace and I pray with all my heart to be kept from the smallest sin against You. Mercifully guard my every thought and grant that I may always watch for Your light, and listen to Your voice, and follow Your gracious inspirations. I cling to You and give myself to You and ask You, by Your compassion to watch over me in my weakness. Holding the pierced Feet of Jesus and looking at His Five Wounds and trusting in His Precious Blood and adoring His opened Side and stricken Heart, I implore You, Adorable Spirit, Helper of my infirmity, to keep me in Your grace that I may never sin against You. Give me grace, O Holy Spirit, Spirit of the Father and the Son to say to You always and everywhere, 'Speak Lord for Your servant heareth.' Amen.

DOMINGO DE LA ASCENSION: EL SENOR JESUCRISTO RECUSITADO ES ELEVADO AL CIELO.
DOMINGO DE PENTECOSTES: EL ESPIRITU DE JESUS DESCIENDE SOBRE LA TIERRA.DONDE ESTA JESUS AHORA?

Jesus es Elevado atraves de las nubes cuarenta dias despues de que resucito. Los discipulos no entendian que estaba sucediendo. Ya no verian mas a Jesus, su amado Maestro. A DONDE SE FUE? Ellos tendran entendimiento cuando reciban al ESPIRITU SANTO en PENTECOSTES.

Los once siguieron a Jesus cada dia por tres anos hasta su Pasion y Muerte en la Cruz. Encontraron la Tumba vacia y no tenian idea de donde estaba el Cuerpo de Jesus. Estaban sorprendidos al ver al Senor Resucitado. El Senor Jesus los deja de nuevo y esta vez parece para siempre. Una vez mas, no sabian, a donde se fue.

Nosotros nos sentimos de la misma manera hoy. A veces nuestro corazon esta lleno del amor de Jesus. A veces nos sentimos abandonados, como huerfanos sin padres. DONDE ESTA JESUS? DEJ? Sigo preguntandoles: DONDE ESTA JESUS AHORA? Algunos de ustedes no entienden mi pronunciacion Francesa de DEJ. Pero me entienden cuando lo digo mas despacio: DEJ, les explico que J es para JESUS. DE para: Donde esta?  Donde esta Jesus?

En Pentecostes, el "ESPIRITO" de Jesus Desciende sobre los once. Estan totalmente transformados. Eran pescadores sin educacion como Pedro. Ahora LLENOS CON EL ESPIRITU SANTO! Pueden realizar algunos Milagros de Jesus. Pueden hablar en diferentes lenguas, lenguajes muy diferentes de su lengua nativa  el Arameo. Tambien podian curar a los enfermos. Y lo mas importante que podian BAUTIZAR CON EL ESPIRITU SANTO Y PROCLAMAR LAS BUENAS NUEVAS DEL SENOR JESUCRISTO, quien murio por nuestros pecados,y conquisto la Muerte de una sola vez para todos, abriendo los Cielos y dandonos una NUEVA VIDA, LA VIDA ETERNA.

Mientras Jesus estaba en la tierra,  ambos HOMBRE  Y DIOS, hicieron todo posible. Hizo ver al ciego, caminar al cojo. Curo a los enfermos, Curo a los leprosos. Expulso a los espiritus malignos de los poseidos. Cambio el agua en vino alimento a 5,000 hombres hambrientos con cinco panes y dos peces. Consolaba a los marginados de la sociedad. PODRIA JESUS REALIZAR TODOS ESOS MILAGROS HOY?
SI! JESUS PUEDE hacer todo por nosotros. Su IGLESIA, el CUERPO DE CRISTO, esta VIVO. Cuando somos parte de la Iglesia, somos UNO CON  CRISTO. Recibimos el ESPIRITU SANTO, a traves del Bautismo y la Confirmacion. Recibimos el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo en la Eucaristia. Todos los dias podemos pedirle a Jesus que venga a nuestros corazones. Cada dia, podemos pedir al Espiritu Santo que llene nuestros corazones con Su amor, y nos guie.

Oremos juntos el ACTO DE CONSAGRACION AL ESPIRITU SANTO
